When looking for a location for these family portraits, the Rule family knew exactly where they wanted to be. We took a drive to Verona and down the long, winding driveways of EPIC on a very chilly Saturday evening. From a Harry Potter-like area to outer-space, they have it all (including an indoor slide)! If you are in Wisconsin and haven’t visited, we highly recommend it. Unfortunately because of the time of day we arrived, we weren’t able to take our tour and utilize the indoor space so we explored the grounds outside (before we were kicked off the campus for the day). Lucky for us, the exterior is just as quirky and visually appearing as indoors.
After first being contacted about this family portrait session, the most important thing for us to capture was the love between them (all 3 generations!). As well as a stunning holiday card to send to friends and family. Arriving on site and getting to know everyone a little better it was easy to see we would have no problem capturing this family. We loved to see the interactions between the kiddos and also between the kiddos and their grandparents. Both of us growing up with younger siblings, it is not often we see eye-to-eye with our brothers and sisters. A college student, high schooler and almost middle schooler getting along. These are some of our favorite things!
Of all the places we could have photographed at EPIC, we found some prime areas close to the entrance just off of the guest parking lot. Although it was a cold day in November, we were still blessed with fairly green grass and a few plants that were still flowered. We also came across a very cool display of lit hanging ornaments, perfect for our holiday photos! Check out the rest of their family portraits within our portfolio.
FUN FACT: Did you know the EPIC campus sits on 1,100-acres, has 5 campuses and over 10,000 employees at the Verona, WI office?
