A few years back I started working toward something that was special to me. I wasn't sure what exactly it would mean or turn out to be, but knew deep in my bones I had a passion for it. I'm not someone who does anything at 50% but putting yourself out there can be a daunting task.
Here we are and I am out in the open after learning, failing and continuing to love photography. In the shadows I lit a fire in my heart capturing the love and beauty of those surrounding me.
After my own wedding to my best friend and birth of our children, I knew it was time to step into the light and give it my all. Nothing compares to the energy when celebrating your biggest moments and I am here to help capture those moments, big and small.
That guy next to me, that's my husband Cody. He's along for the ride to help capture your moments too!
Our photography focuses on joyful, editorial, stylish portraits full of light, romance, and emotion. With dreamy film-inspired tones, we capture our wonderful clients' moments with an approach tailored to you and your individual family. We spend our free time with our families, traveling whenever we get the chance, renovating our new-to-us home and coaching at the local high school.
We are based in the Madison, Wisconsin area and serve our family, maternity and newborn clients in Madison and surrounding areas.

For years we prayed that we would be able to start a legacy of our own. Our sweet little boy and smiley girl came into this world and have forever changed us. When we're not photographing beautiful families and newborns, we are running around creating memories on our own with our little family.

Take us outside! There is nothing better than fresh air and beautiful scenery. Finally hiking for the first time while we were in Arizona for our wedding brought us to some of the most beautiful, breathtaking sights. We can not wait to continue to travel and explore new places! There is nothing better than the love of a dog (and cat). If we could get a photo of the two of our furry friends together it would be a miracle. Meet Jagr, our "lab" mix and not pictured Kitty our sweet and sassy cat. After a long day at work or coaching, our sweet furry friends always welcome us home with love and snuggles. Who doesn't love a sloppy puppy kiss?!

Our love story started back in high school at the hockey rink. A player and manager secretly dating because coach said "don't date the players". Hockey has always brought us together and has introduced us both to so many forever friends. One of the best sounds in the world is that first set of skates hitting the ice. Did Cody bring two jerseys to change into at our engagement session, absolutely!
