We were so excited to start our 2021 season capturing Kira and Mike’s gorgeous February winter wonderland wedding. Our first conversation with our bride and groom left us feeling blessed to be able to work with a couple that lightened up the room (even all the way from Florida!). As the days counted down, we continued to monitor the weather forecast praying for anything over zero degrees. We like to think that Kira and Mike brought some warmth and sunshine up with them for their wedding. It ended up almost hitting 30 degrees that weekend, talk about a heatwave!
Dashes of burgundy, navy and greenery lined the aisle and the gorgeous arch by Daffodil Parker on the alter at High Point Church. Amidst the pandemic and the restrictions it has held, Kira and Mike were able to wed in the presence of their closest family and friends. Like many couples skipping the first look, these two had the most touching moment when the doors opened and Mike saw Kira for the first time on their wedding day. There is truly nothing like moments like these and we are so happy to be able to capture things like this for our couples.
Following the ceremony, Kira, Mike and their wedding party headed to a nearby park for some outdoor photos. While the sun was still out in the snow globe that is Wisconsin, we captured some beautiful images. Though a typical reception was not a part of their wedding day, we were happy to hear they were able to head to dinner to celebrate!
Thank you Kira, Mike as well as your family and friends for sharing your special day with us. We could not be happier for the two of you and can not wait to watch your love grow! Please send warmer weather up to us from Florida anytime soon as we are still stuck in a winter wonderland!
